You buy a TT or NA and you: 1. Love it, because it turns you into a mechanic.
2. Hate it, because it turns you into a mechanic (or forces you to put a mechanic's kids through college). There's a chance you might be getting in over your head with a TT, but NAs can sometimes be just as much of a pain in the ass to maintain. If you really want to jump into it, I'd suggest starting with a cheap NA, get a feel for turning wrenches yourself before deciding that this madness is worth it. You can still have fun with it, performance wise, but in terms of acceleration, it really doesn't compare to big brother twin turbo. G'luck.
